Alternatives is a regional credit union. We offer a full range of banking services to anyone who lives in Ithaca, Tompkins County and adjacent counties (Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Seneca, Schuyler and Tioga).

We invite you to become a member of Alternatives Federal Credit Union. Your $20 membership fee and minimum $5 deposit in a savings account starts your account and enrolls you in our field of membership. VISA Credit and Debit Cards and checking accounts are available by application. Home loans, car loans and business loans are only available in specific geographic areas surrounding our home base, Ithaca and Tompkins County. For our check hold policy, click here.
